The English Bull Dog picture...no less
This English Bull Dog picture shows a grump. He has that look that just says: “Where is my cup of coffee?”

To be perfectly honest, I look somewhat similar to this in the morning too…however, with quite a bit more “bed head”. ;)
Today, it’s hard for us to believe that the English Bulldog was used to bait bulls. In fact, throughout the 1600’s, all the way up to the early 1800’s in England, this was a pretty commonplace. Eventually, it was outlawed. It brings about horrid images of dog-fighting, cockfighting, and other cruel activities that some people have the audacity to think of as “sport”. Sad to say, some of these activities continue today, although I’ve not heard of “bull-baiting” in recent times…thankfully.
The next English Bull Dog picture is a front view…at eye-level, of course! When I drew this English Bull Dog picture, I wanted to give him the look that he’s on his way to give you a big lick in the face. And he will too!
The English Bulldog really is a character. In fact, you really have to keep an eye on him. The last time I visited some friends here in Colorado who own an English Bulldog, he had chewed up a bunch of cardboard boxes around the living room. And so their recent renovation of the house took on a new twist!
Yes...
They can be quite stubborn. However, they are a wonderful dog. Drawing an English Bulldog picture is a lot of fun too. They’ve got such expression in their faces.
Speaking of which, if you click here you can see a drawing of an English Bulldog puppy.
